“Anyone can grow into something beautiful.” – Vanessa Diffenbaugh, The Language of Flowers
Victoria Jones spent her adolescence in foster homes – mistrusting everyone she comes into contact with & living in seclusion. At an early age she learns a way of communicating with others, flowers – asters for patience, honeysuckle for devotion…Victoria engulfs her world with learning flowers.
At the age of 18 she is emancipated with no where to live & no job. Miraculously, she was able to ‘bloom’ in to a working woman with a talent to help others. Amidst her job she crossed paths with a stranger from her past life. With this she had to confront relationships, love, life & a painful secret that holds her back from true happiness.
Does Victoria come face to face with this secret? Read the book to find out!
**Okay, so I really enjoyed this book. On one side I was cheering Victoria on to succeed & straighten up but the other part of me just wanted to smack her for her actions! This is a great book that kept me reading. Must read!
