Sriracha Honey Lime Brussels

You know me…I can eat my brussels raw. Point proven in my brussel sprout dijon salad  – but holy YUM, this recipe rocks! This is a killer quick and healthy snack or a side to any main dish.

  1. Preheat oven to 375degrees
  2. Wash, cut the ends & peel outer leaves off of 3C brussel sprouts – place in large bowl
  3. In a small bowl whisk together:  juice from 2 limes, 2T honey, 1T sesame oil & a large squirt of sriracha sauce (depends how hot you like it – me 2t)
  4. Pour mixture over brussels & make sure they all get coated with the sauce
  5. Spray baking sheet with cooking oil & place brussels in one layer
  6. Bake for 25minutes or until they are roasted to your liking

Hope you enjoy these spiced up brussels!

Celebrate with a Easterita!!!

Okay, stop what you are doing & grab a pen and piece of paper. You got it? Now write down the list below:

  1. Smirnoff Fluffed Marshmallow Vodka
  2. Jose Cuervo Especial Gold
  3. Triple Sec
  4. Bottled lime juice or fresh limes
  5. Peeps (the bunny marshmallows) & skewers/long toothpicks (see pic)

Now, go put on your party pants on cause your Easter is about to get a lot better!

For real, this drink is INSANE!  My bro sent me this concoction a few weeks back & I knew we had to get into this over Easter weekend.

For one drink mix up:

  • 1 and 1/4oz Smirnoff (2.5T)
  • 1/4oz Jose (0.5T)
  • 1/2oz Triple Sec (1T)
  • 3/4oz Lime Juice (1.5T)

Shake or stir and serve on ice with a peep on a stick! How festive!

I am in PA right now & all the liquor stores are closed on Sunday – so for all of you living in states like this, go buy the ingredients!  Your Easter will be all the better while drinking Easteritas!
